On Asymmetry and orange peels

If you talk to me about why I write stuff about how my IQ is low or how I’m doing all of these to impress people, then you’re missing the point. My whole point is that we always miss the point.

What people ought to do instead is discuss the centra ideas: my critique of design, knowledge work etc…

One might argue that my style is chasing off people. I sure hope it is. My style is intended as a filter. It just has the added benefit of amusing me.

If you’re going to get stuck on the meaningless shit, then go ahead. I don’t want to talk to you anyway. This is like that glue that catches insects. Flies get stuck in it. Fuck them. You don’t want them in your house. What you want is your dog who will probably not even notice that crap.

I write the way I write because I enjoy it. Let it end there. When it comes to these shells, I don’t know what I’m talking about and I’m not too keen to know. It’s art, it’s only supposed to make sense to me and it does.

Inside the shells, there are other ideas that I want to explore. If someone wishes to explore them, then the shells don’t prevent them from doing so the same way that an orange peel doesn’t prevent you from eating a nice orange.

The principle of charity is not in the benefit of the oponent, it’s in the benefit of the user.

But it’s better than that. Just like an orange peels, these shells have an asymmetric benefit. If you want a fresh zest, if you want a fresh citrus oil on your skin, then orange peels are great for you. If you don’t want them, they’re easy to get rid of. It’s an asymmetric payoff. if you don’t know what that means, then you none of what I say will make sense to you so you might as well get stuck in the glue, respectfully.
