On shortage

I am astounded by my own lack of brainpower. It takes me so much time to render the simplest of information. I make up for it with great thinking skills but the lack of processing capacity is flagrant and omnipresent.

If I can accomplish so much with as little brains, what couldn’t I accomplish had I been endowed with what the really intelligent have?

It has, for a long time, been clear to me that my contribution cannot come from sheer intellectual capacity. It was very clear early on that I’m not even close. The question is: in which area am I closest to the top so I to be able to contribute meaningfully. Not the area in which I’m most competent, but the area in which I’m more able to contribute.

I think my contribution will have to stem from the breadth of my skillset. The issue with breadth is that everyone thinks they have it. The issues that come with that are clear.

It makes me sad sometimes.

Do you think Robbin wants to be Robbin? Fuck no. He wants to be Batman. But unfortunately, Robbin is not rich enough so he contributes what he can with the little means he has.

Robbin is pretty wise.
